With a Disney trip, there must come a vlog series.

I am very excited to share the first installment from my trip to Disneyland Paris in April 2017. I’m now an annual pass holder, so you can expect more visits coming over the next twelve months as well.

Now it’s time to watch the vlog, and don’t forget to read on for the behind-the-scenes as well.

The day started with a fair amount of stress as I had to get to St Pancras International train station for 6am, which is more difficult than it sounds when the tube doesn’t start running until 5.30am. I made it with plenty of time, though, and we had a lot of room to spread out in the carriage. International travel via train was even more simple than I anticipated. There was airport-style security at the station, but then we started hurtling through the countryside, stopping a few times in UK stations, then in Calais, and then we changed in Lille. We had an hour to kill here, and then it was onto a slower train to Disneyland Paris itself. The station here is about 50 metres from the security checkpoints to get into the parks, and just across the road from all the bus stops. That meant we could walk straight out of the station and onto our hotel bus. The entire process was smooth and stress-free. I can’t recommend the Eurostar enough.

After the others had freshened up and we had left our bags at the hotel, we headed to the parks. It all got a bit much for me as we walked into Disneyland for the first time. With the music and atmosphere, it felt just like Disney World in Florida. It seemed so weird to be stood there. More than anything, it made me realise how much I miss Magic Kingdom.

Everything was equally overwhelming, but we got to do a few rides and eat a Casey’s Corner hot dog while watching the new Princess Show.

All in all, it was a fantastic first morning and afternoon in Disneyland Paris.

Update: Part 2 is here as well! Take a look:

Whenever I go on holiday, I tend to keep every ticket, scrap of paper, and memento that I can find. Rather than taking pride of place back home, they tend to stay in a pile in a drawer somewhere, to be pulled out every few months and looked through.

I decided that this wasn’t good enough, especially when I had so many maps, stickers, and memories saved from my trip to Florida in October 2016. The mass of paper was being ignored and was taking up a lot of room in my drawer. I decided to fix two problems in one and made the most of these mementos by displaying them permanently in my room.

Here’s how I did it.

It seems like we can’t go more than a few days between drama at Disney World. Between a broken phone screen and today’s issue, we weren’t doing too well.

Why not watch the video and then read on to find out more about our Disney drama?

I love Disney World vlogs so much that I decided to make my own back in October. I have watched countless hours of video footage on YouTube from Magic Kingdom and the other parks, but then I started to want something new. I went on a few Disney cruises back in 2008 and 2010, so tried to find some vlogs from aboard Disney’s four cruise ships; the Wonder, the Magic, the Dream and the Fantasy. To my surprise, they’re a lot more few and far between than I anticipated. So, for your convenience, here are my favourite Disney Cruise Line vlogs from top vloggers.

Some have millions of followers and others have a few thousand, but they all create great Disney Cruise vlogs. Hopefully you’ll find some new favourite YouTube channels from this list! Which is your favourite?

This day was pretty epic. In fact, it was out of this world. Day 11 had a definite Star Wars theme and we loved it. From getting the most amazing hug from Chewbacca to BB-8 cupcakes, we were embracing all of the new Star Wars themeing at Hollywood Studios.

We stayed here from opening right until close and there was still plenty more to do. Everyone saying that this is a half-day park definitely hasn’t tried to watch all the shows and meet the characters. We were really surprised at how much there is to do here.

If you like improv and comedy, this is definitely the vlog for you because we saw the Citizens of Hollywood quite a few times through the day. We love their brand of humor so made sure we got to see a few of their shows. They’re truly hilarious.

Make sure you take a look at my top tips for Hollywood Studios below after watching the video!
