Some people are naturally more independent than others. While some people will happily travel the world on their own, others will rarely venture to the restroom without any company. I’m here to tell you why you should never worry about doing what you want to on your own. Most importantly, you should never let the opinions and availability of others dictate what you do.
Basically, if you want to go and see something at the cinema, make sure you get yourself a ticket, no matter who is with you.
The morning dawned on our first full day in Disneyland Paris, bringing with it a new pair of vlogs! We had a bit of a slow start, but that did leave lots of time for the buffet breakfast in our hotel. I was pleasantly surprised, as this ‘continental breakfast’ included pastries, cereals, and a full hot food selection. It was the perfect fuel ahead of a busy day in the parks.
Take a look at what we got up to in the morning:
A highlight was definitely getting to meet two of my favourite characters; Winnie the Pooh and Tigger. It was almost worth the trip for those hugs alone!
We got to explore the Studios park this morning and I enjoyed getting to know the area. The Pixar area is so well themed, but I think I like the Ratatouille area even more. It’s beautifully themed and is home to the cutest ride ever. Who doesn’t want to sit on the back of a rat and go for a tour around Paris?
In the afternoon, we watched the parade again and this was my favourite viewing of the whole trip. All the characters were waving right at me – and I somehow managed to make Donald swoon. Adorable.
Later, we went to get some fancy cocktails in the Disneyland Hotel. These were very pricey, but quite strong, as you can probably tell from all the giggling that went on in the evening. I definitely recommend a trip to the Fantasia Cafe as the atmosphere is so calming after a busy day of rushing around with the crowds.

Have you been to a Disney Park? Which character would you most like to meet?
It seems like we can’t go more than a few days between drama at Disney World. Between a broken phone screen and today’s issue, we weren’t doing too well.
Why not watch the video and then read on to find out more about our Disney drama?
What a great day. After running around Hollywood Studios the previously, we realised there was still a lot that we wanted to do in this park (anyone who says it’s a half-day park is wrong) so we ticked everything off our list and waved goodbye. This one has always been a favourite of mine, and I particularly enjoyed it this trip with all the new character meet and greets they’ve set up. It’s going to be amazing once the Toy Story and Star Wars lands open in a few years.
Once we were finished, we headed over to Magic Kingdom once again. There was a definite sprinkling of magic for us here. We ate delicious hot dogs at Casey’s Corner then took our desserts onto the hub grass. The castle show started and it felt pretty perfect. To complete the picture, Mary Poppins wanders out and stands near us on the grass to take pictures. Does life get better?
Since we were in the Magic Kingdom and it was the afternoon, we absolutely had to catch Festival of Fantasy. I love this parade so much and I always watch it from Frontierland. It’s become a bit of a tradition nowt. I love watching it there partly because the crowds are smaller than on Main Street, but mostly because I’m impatient. The parade sets off through the gates by Splash Mountain at three o’clock on the dot. If you’re sat waiting at the top of Main Street, it won’t arrive until at least 3.20pm and I don’t want to wait an extra twenty minutes. Call me lazy, but that’s how I like it!
We also got to catch the Muppets Show for the first time. It sounds bizarre, but it was so cool to see the Muppets in real life. Even in the MuppetVision Show in Hollywood Studios they’re just on a screen. I think they’re hilarious and I loved the new show. Before this, I hadn’t even realised that there was a second-story to the buildings in Liberty Square. I hope the show stays for a long time.

This day was pretty epic. In fact, it was out of this world. Day 11 had a definite Star Wars theme and we loved it. From getting the most amazing hug from Chewbacca to BB-8 cupcakes, we were embracing all of the new Star Wars themeing at Hollywood Studios.
We stayed here from opening right until close and there was still plenty more to do. Everyone saying that this is a half-day park definitely hasn’t tried to watch all the shows and meet the characters. We were really surprised at how much there is to do here.
If you like improv and comedy, this is definitely the vlog for you because we saw the Citizens of Hollywood quite a few times through the day. We love their brand of humor so made sure we got to see a few of their shows. They’re truly hilarious.
