If you’ve visited Faraway Lisa Mae on YouTube in the last few months, you’ll know that I went on a Disney Cruise this year. Of course, I vlogged the whole trip and now all of the highlights are online. From exploring Barcelona for two days, to finally getting on board the Disney Magic, it was an eventful ten days with lots of excitement.
Here’s a look back at all of our days at sea and on land.
Cruise ships can be huge places. They’re even bigger than a floating hotel, and often have handfuls of restaurants, theatres, and activities on them, plus enough rooms to house thousands of guests and thousands of staff. Disney Cruise line is no different, and I had a great time on the Disney Magic Mediterranean cruise back in September. It was my second time on this ship, but I hadn’t stepped foot on this incredible floating home since 2010. Quite a bit had changed.
With so much to see and only a set number of days to do it all, here are my favourite places on board the Disney Magic. I hope my list inspires you to book a cruise, or gives you ideas for your must-do things when you are on-board.
I’m home! My holiday highlight of the year is over, and all is left are the photos, souvenirs, and videos waiting to be turned into vlogs. What a trip it was. From getting lost in Barcelona to the absolute perfection of the Disney Magic, I can honestly say that I enjoyed every minute. Normally trips flash by in the blink of an eye, but I properly made the most of this holiday.
Here are some of my highlights.
Isn’t it funny how a year can seem to last forever, but not very long at all at the same time? That’s what my 22nd year has felt like. It’s weird to think that this time last year I was living in a horrible house share in west London, coming up to my one year anniversary of working full-time. A lot has changed since then – thankfully! This year has definitely been one of huge highs and massive lows. One thing is definitely for sure; I’m so much better at coping with both ends of the spectrum now.
Here are some of my highlights, and I’ll even throw in a few lowlights to prove that everything isn’t perfect all the time.
The end of the year always gets me thinking. How did it all go? How does 2016 compare to the years that proceeded it? It was a year of mountainous highs and bottom-of-the-ocean lows. Like most people, I find it a lot easier to remember the negative. But the year that brought us the horrors of Brexit, also gave me a lot to smile about.
To spread a bit of 2016-positivity, I thought I’d share some of my top moments of the year. When I think about it, this year was actually a cracker.
