Cinderella’s Royal Table was our most desired reservation restaurant of the entire holiday. At a cost of two dining credits each, it was also the most expensive. Did the food, atmosphere, and characters make it worth the cost? Read my review and watch the vlog to find out.
This week’s vlog might look like we’re slacking a bit. It appears that we casually go to ‘Ohana for an incredible evening meal, followed by an evening at Epcot. But what did we do for the rest of the day? Sleep?
In fact, a lot of our day did not get captured in the vlog. We started off at Typhoon Lagoon, going on all the slides and enjoying the wave pool for a few hours. I didn’t want to risk having my camera stolen from a locker or swallowed up in the wave pool, so I took the morning off vlogging.
Have a watch of this week’s vlog, then read on for all my tips, tricks and to hear about Typhoon Lagoon.
Food. Wine. Two of my favourite things. Disney had the great idea to put both together and turn it into a festival quite a few years ago, and now the Epcot Food & Wine Festival draws thousands of people everyday. It runs for several months in the autumn, and is particularly busy on weekends as the locals come to Disney World to taste their way around the world. We had a great afternoon of choosing dishes.
Also on Day 9, we went for a long walk around the Boardwalk. This is another place that is more popular on evenings and weekends, but it’s a lovely and peaceful place to be at any time of the day or week.
To wrap up the day, we ticked a dining experience off our Disney bucket list and ate next to the water at the San Angel Inn at the Mexico Pavillion.
So what are you waiting for? Take a look at my new vlog and then come back for my tips and tricks below.
Dawn rose on day seven and two very tired people forced themselves out of bed. Our late night at the Halloween party meant that we didn’t get into bed until around 1am. Ambitious planning meant that we had to be out and heading to Magic Kingdom in the morning again. We had a very early lunch reservation at Be Our Guest. Breakfast turns into lunch at 11am, and our reservation was shortly after that. It was Alice’s first time in this highly-themed restaurant and she was suitably excited to be visiting.
After lunch, we crossed lots more rides and character meets off our list – including Gaston – and then headed to explore the new Disney Springs. After disappointing merchandise in Universal, we had money burning holes in our pockets so we went wild in World of Disney. Take a look at my holiday haul if you want to see what I bought.
Watch our day in the Magic Kingdom and at Disney Springs, and then read on for my tips of the day.
The day had finally arrived! I really enjoyed our stay at Universal and I was surprised by how much I loved our hotel, Cabana Bay. All good things come to an end, though, and this one led to something even better: Disney World.
After a morning finishing off at Islands of Adventure, we got an Uber over to Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and started the second half of the holiday. Watch the vlog and then come back for my top tips and behind-the-scenes.
