Now that my first set of Disneyland vlogs are over, it’s surely time to start asking about where the next ones will be coming from. It may not be another Florida trip, but I am very excited about what is coming next.
Yes, I’m off to Disneyland Paris once again. Got to make the most of that annual pass, which I bought in April! Having the park tickets already does make the trip a lot cheaper, which is great. My sister Alice is also very excited about the trip. In fact, she’s going to New York City a week before, so July is going to be a great month for her!
During our trip, we’re hoping to get all the rides done, see all the shows and meet lots of characters. I’ve been eagerly following Twitter updates to find out about the new things that Disneyland Paris have coming up for summer. After hearing great things, I can’t wait to see Forest of Enchantment. I’ve heard there’s going to be a new ‘Winnie the Pooh or friends’ meet-up in Fantasyland which I am very excited for. If you’ve followed my vlogs for a while, you’ll know that both Alice and I are big fans of the Hundred Acre Wood gang. Such great hugs!
I can’t wait to show my sister all of my favourite bits from my last trip. From Crush’s Coaster and Tower of Terror to Mickey and the Magician and the 25th anniversary castle show, I know it’s going to be an amazing trip.
We’re heading off in mid to late July, so do keep an eye out for our updates and the vlogs which will be coming very soon afterwards. Now it’s time to get excited!
Day 4 at Disneyland Paris had some of my favourite moments of the whole trip! One of the things I love most about the Disney Parks in France is how spontaneous the character meet and greets can be. While we were hanging around in the front lot, doing a bit of shopping and taking photos, three of my dream characters walked out. Mary Poppins, Bert, and a penguin all appeared by the entrance of Disney Studios. It was so exciting! Watch the vlog to see what happened.
In the evening, we had a great time running between the parks. We got to go on Crush’s Coaster for the first time, which was probably my favourite ride in the whole of Disneyland – and easily in my top five in the world. It was so smooth and huge fun.
Sadly, this was our last night of the holiday so we rushed over to the main park to snack on popcorn and weave our way through the crowds to find a spot for Illuminations. As we were late, we were further back from the castle and I actually preferred standing here. No people shouting at other people to sit down or move, and I could see more of the fireworks as well. Some were lost behind the castle when we sat right at the front, so I preferred being able to see the full show at all times.
Our feet were dead by the end of this mammoth day, but we made it back to the hotel and completely crashed into bed. Still one more day to go!
The morning dawned on our first full day in Disneyland Paris, bringing with it a new pair of vlogs! We had a bit of a slow start, but that did leave lots of time for the buffet breakfast in our hotel. I was pleasantly surprised, as this ‘continental breakfast’ included pastries, cereals, and a full hot food selection. It was the perfect fuel ahead of a busy day in the parks.
Take a look at what we got up to in the morning:
A highlight was definitely getting to meet two of my favourite characters; Winnie the Pooh and Tigger. It was almost worth the trip for those hugs alone!
We got to explore the Studios park this morning and I enjoyed getting to know the area. The Pixar area is so well themed, but I think I like the Ratatouille area even more. It’s beautifully themed and is home to the cutest ride ever. Who doesn’t want to sit on the back of a rat and go for a tour around Paris?
In the afternoon, we watched the parade again and this was my favourite viewing of the whole trip. All the characters were waving right at me – and I somehow managed to make Donald swoon. Adorable.
Later, we went to get some fancy cocktails in the Disneyland Hotel. These were very pricey, but quite strong, as you can probably tell from all the giggling that went on in the evening. I definitely recommend a trip to the Fantasia Cafe as the atmosphere is so calming after a busy day of rushing around with the crowds.

Have you been to a Disney Park? Which character would you most like to meet?
Here we are. The end is nigh. It’s been a great trip, hasn’t it? I’ve loved being able to look back on these amazing memories every week. I was really happy with how all of the videos turned out since it was my first time vlogging a full two-week holiday. Filming all the memories came surprisingly easy, too. After a few days of getting into the swing of it, I found that my camera rarely left my hand and I didn’t need to think too much about what I was going to record next.
Will I vlog future trips? Without a shadow of a doubt, yes. There is so much more to see in videos that in still photos alone. I know that I will look back and watch these vlogs so many times in future, far more often than I would get out a photo album, so it was completely worth it.
I was always very conscious of enjoying the moment as well as recording it. I never sacrificed my view or enjoyment at the time to capture a better shot. Hence why there’s a fair bit of shaky footage every now and then from when I was dancing or caught in the moment. If I sacrificed that, then I would be sacrificing some of the fun as well and I definitely didn’t want to do that.
Time to stop being sentimental and get on with the last day. I hope you’ve enjoyed this series.
If you have, then I’ve got good news. I’m off to Disneyland Paris in April 2017 and I will be getting out my vlogging camera once again. Be sure to subscribe to my channel to be notified when those videos pop up. Plus, there is more to come later this year as well.
See you real soon!
